Plot Summary

Some spells are meant to be broken. Some bonds are meant to last forever.

Nevaeh’s carefully organized life is about to get gloriously complicated.

As an introvert who color-codes her calendar and alphabetizes her spice rack, the most excitement she’s had in months is taking her rescue dog on daily walks. So when she accidentally recites an ancient summoning spell over wine and candlelight, she’s completely unprepared for the devastatingly gorgeous incubus who materializes in her living room.

Cursed for millennia, Jhoral is bound to serve whoever summons him for a week. But Nevaeh is different from the others. She sees him as a person, not a tool. She’s determined to break his curse and set him free, even if it means he’ll disappear from her life forever.

With only seven days until Halloween, the night when the veil is thinnest and Jhoral will be forced to vanish back to his realm, Nevaeh races to find the components that might break the curse.

Does Jhoral dare to hope this time will be different, or will his heart and body be bottled once more?
