Plot Summary

Introducing a paranormal romance mystery with an end-of-the-world scenario.

Hired by the devil to find a missing demon and given a succubus as an assistant, what could go wrong for a young detective? Tom Wilkens is the junior detective at a large Investigation agency. Being the newest recruit, he is often assigned cases others would prefer not to have, but this case was to be the strangest of all. The client was old goat-horns himself. The assistant is an incredibly alluring demoness whose second job is to seduce Tom and taint his soul. The missing demon – the most powerful entity in hell next to Lucifer himself. With the help of his brother - a priest, his cousin – a monk, and his mother – soon to be a nun, he must find a way to out-trick Satan, out-think a two-thousand-year-old golem, out-muscle the most vicious demon in existence, and fight off the allure of the most beautiful creature he has ever met. So when did love become part of the equation?

It was a late winter midnight when Tom Wilkins' phone rang. Being the junior detective at a large Private investigation firm, he was the one who was called at all hours to take on a new case. But this one was to be different from any other case he had ever been asked to solve. He is informed that this client is a regular of one of the senior executives of the firm and that he had asked directly for Tom to work this case. When he meets the client, he is shocked to find out that he is the Devil himself, and the job was to locate a missing demon. And not just any demon. Asmodeus, the most powerful demon, second only to Lucifer himself in the hierarchy of hell.

Knowing that a mortal would not be able to handle a demon, the devil tells Tom he will assign him an assistant, who will meet him later. Sure enough, when Tom returns home, lying in his bed in a state of undress is the most gorgeous woman he has ever seen. When he tries to evict her, she informs him that she is to be his assistant and calls herself a demoness. In reality, she is a succubus, and little does Tom know she has a double assignment – To protect Tom and to seduce him to taint his soul so that one day the devil can claim it.

Every step of the way, they encounter the forces of Asmodeus, whose plan is to take over the rulership of both Hell and Earth. From human, to demon, to golem, the forces appear undefeatable. However, with the help of his own family, his brother the priest, his cousin the monk, and his mother the nun, Tom and the succubus work together to prevent Armageddon. No one expected, though, that love could interfere with all they tried to accomplish.

It is not until the very end that Tom finds out the real truth.
