Plot Summary
In a dimly lit chamber, where shadows writhe like living entities, a lone practitioner dares to summon an ancient evil. Armed with forbidden knowledge and an unyielding curiosity, he invokes a being of unspeakable power, a succubus of unparalleled beauty and malevolence. As the candles extinguish and darkness reigns, the line between fear and desire blurs in a dance of horror and ecstasy.
This tale weaves a spell of erotic horror, where a man’s deepest fears and darkest lusts collide with a demoness who demands complete surrender. Each moment is a battle for control, each touch a blend of agony and bliss, leading to a climactic encounter that tests the boundaries of body and soul.
Will he survive her wrath.
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 2, 2026
There are many kinds of succubi in the universe and some of them are creatures of feral need above all else. Summoning one of them is to pen the door to their power, and one’s own damnation.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash which revolves around the main character calling a succubus and being held in their erotic nature to what end awaits them. It’s very atmospheric, there’s barely any dialogue throughout. The narrative holds the story together and that hangs on the ability of the author to describe the main character’s reactions to the succubus, and what she does to him.
The heat is really quite powerful, the story enlaces itself in what the succubus does and it’s really some of the best writing in that vein I have read for some time. The succubus herself, who is never named, never speaks a word, feels lore like an animalistic succubus wrapped in a sexual disguise. She is very much a succubus, there’s not a question about that aspect of her. From the first moment, there’s a sense of impending doom that builds slowly throughout until the last page when the story takes a twist. if expected, and left me wondering about the possibilities.
Three out of five pitchforks.
The story closes in a way that is very open ended as to what the fate of the main character is. It’s interesting and it works well with the story, but at the same time it is also vey abrupt. It would be interesting for the author to take another editing pass at this work nnd create an ending that matches better in tone with the rest of the story.
