Plot Summary
Dr. Aris Thorne was a brilliant botanist obsessed with a legend: a flower that didn't just grow, it fed. Deep in the humid twilight of her private greenhouse, she cultivated her masterpiece, the Orchis Nocturna, a sentient bloom that consumes life to fuel its own dark transformation. Aris didn't just discover the flower; she became its chosen vessel, its high priestess.
For Detective Kaito Reed, the case began as a missing person. It ended when he witnessed the impossible from a bell tower high above the city: a woman, bathed in crimson light, draining the life from a victim until nothing but dust remained. He saw Aris shed her skin like a serpent and reveal the predator within.
Now, Kaito is a ghost, haunted by a video no one will believe and a secret that is slowly consuming him. Aris, a succubus of terrifying power and intellect, has her sights set on her lone witness. She toys with him, invading his dreams, blurring the line between terror and ecstasy, and forcing him to question his own sanity and desires. As the police close in, Aris orchestrates a final, perfect act of deception—a body swap that leaves her captured and her loyal follower, Chloe, wearing her face.
But the case isn't closed. It's just beginning.
In a maximum-security asylum, the woman they think is Aris awaits a final, deadly delivery. In the outside world, the real Aris, wearing a new face, prepares to unleash her creation upon the world. The Bloom is a story of transformation, obsession, and a horror that doesn't just kill. It blooms, and its harvest is just beginning.
