Plot Summary

Someone is rewriting memories. Someone is turning allies into enemies. And only Val Shapiro can stop them.

Val has faced vampires, demons, rogue magic, and enough near-death experiences to last several lifetimes. But nothing has prepared her for Raze. He doesn’t just destroy people. He rewrites them.

With anti-supernatural forces closing in and the fragile alliance she fought to build beginning to collapse, eighteen-year-old Val must stop him before he breaks everything they’ve built. But the closer she gets to the truth, the more her relationship with Austin fractures under the weight of secrets, suspicion, and twisted memories. And the worst part? Raze doesn’t want to destroy her. He wants her beside him—and he’s starting to make a terrifying amount of sense...

As paranoia spreads and trust crumbles, Val has to hold together a coalition of vampires, demons, and humans who barely trust each other, all while facing an enemy who can make anyone question what’s real. Fang has opinions. Austin has hope. Val has a hellhound, a prophecy she doesn’t trust, and absolutely no intention of going quietly.
