Plot Summary

Successful scientist Sabrina Klein is at the top of her game… a game dominated by men in suits and white coats. As the manager of her own bioinformatics lab, her strong willed and pithy nature has earned her respect amongst her colleagues. She loves her job and the contribution she’s made to the world. But outside of her work she’s lonely, with no close friends and a marriage that’s grown cold. She doesn’t blame her husband… it’s not entirely his fault that this terrible tragedy ripped them apart. It’s that tragedy she’s been researching and spends every waking hour trying to stop from ever occurring again. She’s sooo close to a breakthrough, and then she’s not - the data suddenly takes an unexpected shift. Feeling desperate and no longer objective, she calls for outside help. When Sherman Blackwell arrives, everything in her life suddenly… changes.
