Plot Summary
Just one teeny summoning spell…what could go wrong?
Portia I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, a vision told me I’d have a date for this year’s Halloween party. The bad news is, it’s October 31 already, and the mysterious would-be-date has yet to show his stupid face.
Frankly, I'm tired of waiting for an unknown Mr. Right to show up for one measly date. So, I’m taking matters into my own hands and conjuring myself a date with a succubus-for-hire. Just one quick, harmless contract with a demon escort is all I need. And all he has to do is stand next to me, match my costume, and make me feel pretty and desired. The powers-that-be won’t notice such a minor dabbling in forbidden magic on Halloween, of all nights. And if they do? My demon date will have slithered on back to hell before anyone notices what I’ve done. No muss, no fuss.
Bragg When the pretty little clairvoyant witch summons me from my cramped corner of hell, I’m ready to party. Halloween sounds like the perfect time and place to carry out some mayhem — as long as Portia doesn’t mind my addendum to her contract. You see, I had to bring along my buddy Rewd for some much-needed affection. How could a witch argue with two demons for the price of one?
Rewd I know a couple of things about myself: I don’t like witches. I don’t like parties. And I don’t like traveling between dimensions. But I do like the demon Bragg, so I’ll tag along with whatever he’s got planned. However, one simple portal jump to a little witch's attic has me rethinking everything I know. All it takes is one look at Portia to open me up to a multitude of possibilities. The three of us are meant to be together. And I don’t need a psychic to tell me that.
