Plot Summary

Something’s stalking the halls of Santa Gracia. Nightly intruders attack the nuns in their beds. Some have died violently. Others seem to have accepted it. Still others remain in denial.

Nearby, infants are vanishing from their cribs without a trace, and a powerful lord is receiving visits from a being claiming to be his murdered wife. Who is she really, and what does she want?

When the case reaches Demetrius’s ears, he journeys to the South of France to uncover the dark mysteries that haunt the region. His archer, Sirion, accompanies him, excited for the adventure. But the mystery is deeper than it seems, and the forces arrayed against them are stronger than they initially suspect. Can they uncover the demonic forces at work, and can they survive a confrontation with powers beyond their darkest nightmares?
