Blooden is a Succubus NPC character in the Dungeons and Dragons role playing game universe. She is encountered during one of the adventures in the Neverwinter Nights 2 video game. The character was voiced by Lisa Emery.
Description
Blooden appears as a tall Succubus with dark hair, cloaked in black and having grey wings and tail. She seems indifferent to the events around her, finding that boredom is more dangerous than any of the characters that appear to her. She is slightly aloof and cares nothing about any Succubi that the player may kill during the adventure. She seems to be amused by the players, and makes the occasional comment about weaknesses in the player's gender, especially if they are male.
Neverwinter Nights 2
Blooden is encountered when the player enters Amon Jerro's Haven (Jerro's Haven). Upon entering a room, Blooden is found and then after a dialog with her, a group of Succubi appear and attack the player and their companions. After defeating all of the Succubi, Blooden then offers to open a portal the players need if they manage to convince Koraboros, another NPC the player have encountered, to send some Hellhounds to Blooden in order to "relive her boredom". When this action occurs, the player can side with Blooden's succubi in the fight or not, all Blooden wants to do is watch the battle unfold. Upon the resolution of this battle, Blooden makes good on her promise to open the portal.
After Blooden opens the portal, the player can also obtain a piece of information from her as she knowz the true name of Baalbisan’s matron, which is Zaxis, who was once a Merilith known as Bethshiva. Once the player has this information, the task in having either or both Hezebel and Zaxis to open their portals is much simpler.
