Plot Summary
The future looks bright for Lily Knight since she defeated alpha-hole incubus Ariel and went public as a half-succubus cambion. Her own woman at last, she balances a solo practice in supernatural legal defense with the ups and downs of surrogate parenthood, romantic non-monogamy with handsome beau Sebastian, and not-so-platonic feelings for her engaged best friend.
Despite her best efforts to avoid it, she’s even started therapy. But her new normal becomes an all-too-familiar nightmare when a selkie woman stirs memories Lily would rather forget. A deadly threat stalks the city’s piers and rooftops – and someone has set up Lily to take the fall.
Now, Lily must race to clear her name before she’s locked away behind silver bars. Fleeing beyond the boundaries of the human world, between ancient fey magic and newfound family, she confronts a terrible choice.
She can leave those she loves behind forever—or sacrifice her own hard-won freedom to protect them.
