Plot Summary
Sammi is one of only a handful of female Human Protectors in her big city, and God does she love what she does. It’s a rough job, there’s no doubt about it. With vampires, werewolves, faeries, and all the other magical creatures that share the planet all far stronger than humans, men and women have become an endangered species.
And being a Succubus, well, that just makes her even better at her job.
For years Sammi tried not to think about the one thing missing in her life, because thinking about love always brought her thoughts back to the one man who had stolen her heart. But then Luke walks through the door and everything changes.
How will she possibly focus on her new case when the only man she’s ever loved becomes her new partner? And can she possibly control the desires of her inner-Succubus around a man who takes her breath away?
