Plot Summary

Exhausted by booty calls and an unfulfilling sex life, Teresa does something she never thought possible; She summons an incubus to ravish her in her dreams.

Now faced with a night full of wonderful pains and pleasures, she realizes she’s in over her head. Her demon lover Sitri opens her eyes to new sinful delights, awakening something in her she’s never felt before.

Can Teresa keep the embers of her affection from growing into an all-consuming blaze? Or will she fall before the demon’s might, becoming just another one of his prey? This 5.5k word short story follows Teresa and Sitri’s first night of demonic pleasure and struggle against emotions that threaten to overwhelm common sense.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on August 8, 2023

It’s frustrating when your need remains unfulfilled. Sex alone becomes meaningless, the desires Teresa holds inside no one can provide. At least no one human. Pouring out her desires into the summoning of an incubus, she hopes that he will be the one. When Sitri appears, Teresa knows, somehow, her dream has arrived and as for Sitri, there is no finer thing than to be desired by another, and to be fulfilled.

The work is a very slow burning mixture of BDSM and incubus themes which works exceptionally well. The characters fit together perfectly from the moment they touch, the passions and desires enflame the story which makes the storytelling wonderful.

What’s especially welcome is that the BDSM aspects of the story, and specifically the dominance that comes as things progress, feels right from a viewpoint of pleasure, not one of dominance for the sake of it like many other works do. The erotica isn’t over the top, never hurtful or crass. There’s a feeling of love and passion which guides the story.

Sitri, the incubi of the work, is not at all stereotypical. His description is wonderful, his character and tone revolve around capturing Teresa’s need within and bringing that to the fore. He’s not quite a gentle dominant, there are moments of edge to him which feed on Teresa and what her soul demands. This works really well to build the heat between them and display how well the two are means for each other.

The writing is exceptionally good, the dialogue reads well, the heat in Sitri’s teasing and Teresa’s reactions are perfect. There’s really no rush though the story, which I enjoyed. This is something of a dance between the main characters which we watch unfold. The story feels right, the passions grow and as the erotica encircles the characters, it’s never crass or beyond the pale.

The only thing that’s missing, and given that this is the opening work to the series, is Sitri’s story. We learn so much about Teresa, but for Sitri there’s really little save for him being an incubus. There are scattered hints of course, some of which I’m sure will leave to further revelations and that piques my interest.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

The work closes in a very interesting way which leads, I hope, into the next work of the series. I have a number of thoughts about that, not the least of which is how the relationship between Teresa and Sitri night transform beyond the BDSM relationship itself. I have this oddest feeling that Teresa might find herself given something which will make the needs she has within everlasting and if so, how that happens will be something special. Like this work so very much is.
