Plot Summary
Freedom is a double-edged sword.
With our triumphant return to the Vorpmasian Empire, I’ve decided to let my guard down. The mutual attraction between Nalithor and I is painfully obvious, and I want to see where it goes. While I still have reservations, and I’m uncertain if we’re breaking some unspoken law, my suspicions are continually proved true. Darius doesn’t approve of my budding relationship with Nalithor. According to Darius, the God of Balance belongs to him. That I’m getting in their way. My brother can have whoever he wants—within reason. But Nalithor is mine. If Darius doesn’t want to be part of my family anymore, that’s fine by me. I have someone to build a new one with.
No one will stand in our way. If they do, they’ll cross the God of Balance, and he’ll show no mercy. Especially with those who want me dead.
