Devon Collier is three things - he is the famous white hat "hacktivist" known as DedKode, he is foul-mouthed & opinionated and most recently, he is a cursed young man, killed and resurrected as a zombie with a will of his own. After discovering a menacing dark presence on the World Wide Web, DedKode and his team search for an answer to stop the force known as "Spook.Net." Along their way, DedKode, James Palladino and the Kanapilly sisters help whomever they can from the supernatural dangers hiding behind technological trappings.

When two IT students uncover unnatural evidence of their friend’s unusual disappearance, DedKode and his team investigate a mysterious cam model named SisikaBC. Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 28, 2020

There’s always something odd happening if you look for it and in the case of a cam girl on the web, that’s very true. She’s not what she seems and getting on her wrong side might get you more than what you really wanted her to do.

The work is a short mystery adventure with a bit of fantasy horror and science fiction wrapped about it. Rather fast paced and perhaps a little bit over the top at times, there are moments which are just delightfully funny by far. While there is a succubus in the story, there’s really very little in the way of erotica to be found. What comes from that is an evil succubus and the entanglements that appear.

Sisika, the succubus of the story, is very much a creature of evil that has figured out the online world in this story universe. Se’s discovered how to claim the souls of those that desire her and then do with them as she wants. Still, she is very much over the top in an expected evil demoness sort of way which takes a bit away from her character.

Three out of five pitchforks.

A somewhat odd and quirky story overall, it’s very much a unique story told in a unique way. Still Sisika was a bit too stereotypically evil for me and a little one-dimensional as well. How things close ties up a lot of loose ends and feels like it made sense, but honestly this could have been so much more interesting than it was.
