Plot Summary

Drawn to an old mansion when she senses that someone is dying, Lilith soon comes across Lucy. The young woman is bleeding out after a suicide attempt, cradled by her sister Abigail who’s desperately trying to staunch the flow of blood.

Out of desperation to save Lucy, Lilith possesses her. The demoness’ actions cause a gradual change to start taking place in the young woman. One that hinders Lucy’s ability to eat regular food, much like Lilith herself. And yet, to the young woman, some of the other physical changes might be just as bad, if not worse. In particular, Lucy finds her new demonic member to be especially harrowing.

After being woken up to talk by who she thinks is her sister, Abigail finds that maybe things aren’t quite what they seem. But when it becomes clear that Lilith will soon starve, drained from having saved Lucy’s life, Abigail is faced with a dilemma. Help sate the demoness’ unnatural hunger, thankful that the demoness was able to save her sister, or don’t, and rid the world of another demon.

Over time, and increasingly influenced by Lilith, Lucy are emboldened to act on her feelings towards Abigail, making things even more complicated for the trio of women, but their problems are only just starting.

Grace has earned herself quite a reputation while working for Valkyrie, a monster-hunting agency. She’s their go-to hunter when the target is a particularly dangerous demon, and she has her sights set on Lilith.
