Plot Summary

Lord Ferdinand Godfrey, a British Noble from the 1600s, has been banished to the dream world as an incubus for his past sins and is forced to feed off the desire and sexual energy of women while they sleep. When he learns of a possibility of salvation and revival, he searches the world for a girl pure enough to lead him out of the nightmare prison of his soul.

Jenny Hardwig, a young girl from Idaho, seeks a life outside her small, depressing town. After losing her father, she encounters an incubus in a dream who promises her wealth, security and pleasure. After thee years of waiting, while attending college in San Francisco, she meets him again and begins a dangerous journey to bring him back to life. Along the way, she meets two exceedingly wealthy deviants with an agenda of their own, a British secret agent who helps her with her quest, a ditzy roommate who parties too much, and many others.

Accompanying Jenny throughout her journey is her best friend, Matthew, a troubled young man with a dark, secretive past. A past that links them all together, and a secret that could either save them, or damn them all forever.
