Plot Summary

An innocent Catholic cheerleader. A pact with a futa succubus. And a whole lot of cream. In an ancient library in Europe, cheerleader Nikki is visited by a mysterious futanari who grants her her the power to fulfill her deepest wishes—for a price. Emboldened with her growing gift, Nikki claims another cheerleader as the fertile love-slave she’s always wanted.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 6, 2021

Nikki’s been suffering for a while with her thoughts and not being able to do anything about them. A strange encounter changes who she is and in doing so gives her what she’s looking for.

The work is a low heat hot flash with a focus on futa transformation with the erotica mainly revolving around Nikki’s transformation. The erotica is teenage porn movie levels of heat and it really didn’t do much for me. Where things go a bit further to the side is that there’s really no evidence of there being a succubus in the story at all.

There might be one, but there’s no real proof in the story, she’s a shadow and not much more, a means to cause Nikki’s transformation and then she vanishes. Then the question becomes if Nikki is then a succubus of some kind, and that’s not all that clear, what’s the point? Again, she might be, but there’s nothing in the story to come out and say that. Considering that the main point of the story was her transformation, and the story seems to want to have a succubus in it, shouldn’t that have happened?

Setting that aside, the story is mainly focused on Nikki’s urges and not a lot else which tends to make the story repetitive. There’s a bit of plot around the edges which didn’t seem to have a lot of connections with the main transformation story other than to set it up and provide an outlet for Nikki.

The work could use another editing pass, if only to clarify the story more. It would be good to give Nikki’s character more depth than focusing on dealing with her urges as well. Going back to my first question, adding in some story to say who the succubus is, or give direction to what happens to Nikki, for example why she was changed as she was, would add a missing piece to the story.

One pitchfork out of five.

I’m really not sure if there is a succubus story here. The work reads like there might be, or should be a second book to follow, and perhaps that will clear things up. If not then this is really a futa transformation story with the barest of succubus themes in it that doesn’t go much past the sex scenes.
