Plot Summary

Fast cars, exotic food, extravagant villas, and all things pop culture are the things that Archer chases. Of course, in his off time he kills people in ways that no one can ever trace to him, regardless of surveillance cameras or witnesses.

Archer (real name Rune Acheron) has a distinct look, jet black hair with a pure white lock and two differently colored eyes, symptoms of his genetic disorder. Many people feel disconcerted as they look into those eyes, as if he’s looking into their very souls.

Although he isn’t sinless himself, Archer has moved to Los Angeles to stop the 2,000 year old Gates of Alexander from opening and unleashing the beasts from folklore and legend into an unprepared world. He recruits a mixed group of people to aid in his mission: a gargoyle, a werewolf, and several demons. He’s never been good at resisting temptation, so it’s no surprise that the succubus of the group winds him around her little finger in no time flat.

Standing in his way there is a LAPD detective with second sight, an angel who is more like a mob boss, a muse with memory problems, and a powerful witch named Circe who has become obsessed with him. Archer knows that he has to save the city, and the world, before the visions of his death come true, and he’s relying on some fairly dark heroes to help him.
