Plot Summary
Newly turned ghouls aren’t supposed to be this much trouble.
Ex-bodyguard Whiskey Joe left “neck-deep in trouble” behind him two turns ago. He was just investigating reports of a rogue ghoul attack at a hospital, but now he’s dodging zombies, vampire gangsters, and unstoppable killing machines of all stripes. Then Joe’s charge is kidnapped and the city’s Phage community threatens to erupt in a firestorm of carnage unless Joe can save the ghoul and find out what the hell is going on.
Everyone wants this ghoul, and the only ones standing between them are Joe and his succubus partner, Gloria. Their assets: their own abilities, Joe’s silver-threaded chain, and an old van that was new three presidents ago.
No way this can go wrong.
