Plot Summary
Sometimes we are our own worst demons.
Tired of being treated like a child by the Archangels, Hamal is searching for autonomy and respect until he meets someone that gives it to him, but will he sacrifice the love of his life to prove himself to the other angels?
As an incubus, Ornias has spent thousands of years being viewed as a parasite among other demons. That, and a bad history of angelic encounters, make him wary to trust any angel, but this one seems different. He should know better though, shouldn’t he?
A new breed of demons is trying to enslave human women in order bolster their demonic race. Can Hamal stop them in time or will Ornias betray him to maintain the security of the life he knows, rather than venture into a love that could be risky?
