Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on February 27, 2018
Lilith and Kenna, as most succubi, are competitive creatures of sex, and when their claws come out the question becomes if they will kill each other, bring out the worst in each other, or see who comes first.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet, erotic hot flash that centers on the two main characters calling each other names before becoming entangled in what is, for the most oat, a mud pit. Things get, of course, well out of hand, they are succubi after all, eventually the two becoming so very horny that it overcomes their good sense.
Lilith and Kenna, the succubi of the work, are both very catty, very competitive and at odds from the first page. But they are both very much succubi, horns, tail and all. A bit over the top sexually and erotically perhaps, but they are fully in their power, they are seductresses, and I thought there was a lot that could have been done with them beyond the argument and fighting.
Two and a half out of five pitchforks.
It’s a silly and fun story for the most part, but the ending kind of derailed things even if it was expected from the first few pages. Still, Lilith and Kenna are interesting in a competitive sort of way. It’s a shams they weren’t placed into a situation of battling for a soul and to see who would have won. That would have been interesting.
