Plot Summary

Layla can’t find a way to scratch her itch, no matter how hard she tries. If she didn’t know better, she might well be a succubus. Finding a book that allows her to summon one, Layla discovers that succubi are very talented, but they also can be tricky in more ways that she expects.
As a whole this work is a hot flash with a main character that really could have been the succubus from the beginning considering how focused she was on sex, having an orgasm, and finding that nothing really managed that for her. She isn’t a succubus, not by any means, but in being so focused on that one goal, she isn’t interesting and that makes it difficult at times to find story among all of the sex scenes that make up this work.
The succubus, who is never named, I thought was interesting at the beginning in that it was clear she could shift between genders and there was a real personality difference between her two selves. The erotica with her female form I thought was hotter than her male one mainly because the latter seemed to be more into dominance and not much else, having a one track mind. Her female form was seductive, manipulative, and had a personality that just worked better in the story to make it more interesting overall.
The work does have erotica as its focus, and what follows is a series of short scenes of Layla commanding the succubus to “get me off” and then that happens in several different ways. I will say that I liked how there was some attention given to the succubus’ tail and what it could do as I thought that was hot. But beyond the little bits here and there, there wasn’t a lot of heat in the story because it just devolved into Layla trying to have the orgasm she craved over and over again until, finally, she makes a mistake and the tables are turned.
Even at that point, the story lost something along the way, becoming a little too stereotypical in what happens next. The ending is open, and could lead to another story, but that likely means the same thing again happening and I think that would be repetitive and I just don’t enjoy that very much.
The writing could have been more descriptive, the characters more than the cardboard they are made of, and, most of all, there could have been some story with the erotica instead of erotica with a slight reference to a story that never returns.
Two and a half out of five pitchforks.
A stroke story, if barely that, which is a shame because the idea I thought had some promise to it.
