Plot Summary
Valek Villainous, a seasoned incubus demon who has been battling rogue angels in the mortal realm for half a century, is feeling out of sorts. After spending so much time around humans, he's starting to feel like an outsider among his own kind. But when he returns to his brother's dark kingdom, he's greeted with a surprising sight - his fearsome and ruthless brother Vesper is now happily married and glowing with domestic bliss. This transformation is unheard of in demon lore and leaves Valek feeling even more annoyed and maybe a little envious.
Hoping to calm his anger, his brother commands him to visit Sorcery & Serenity, a popular wellness retreat in the neighboring village of Mystic Grove. There, he meets Odette Blackfire, who has just returned from the mortal realm after secretly raising her niece for eight years. Tired of the political games of her family, Odette has created her own peaceful haven at the relaxation retreat.
But things get complicated when she meets troublesome client Valek Villainous - an incubus who is supposed to seduce sleeping women for their souls but can't bring himself to do it now that he's found his fated mate. Watch as this grumpy demon tries to navigate yoga classes, aromatherapy sessions, and meditation all for the sake of love.
