Age of Conan: Unchained (formerly known as Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures) is a fantasy-themed massively multiplayer online role-playing game. One of the NPCs that can appear to certain types of players is an Incubus.
Description
This is one of the two demons a demonologist may have. A male demonologist will have a succubus, while the female demonologist gains an Incubus instead, unless they use a skill beforehand. They are equivelant, aside from the skins. At the moment, all 5 demons appear to summon a succubus or incubus. This may change later; a Demon Servant and a Demon Warlord are hardly expected to look the same.
Strategy
A large demon similar to demonologist pets in skin. Incubi and Succubi must be kept apart at all costs. If they are allowed to touch they will cause all within range to take one hit. Best strategy is to split the raid into two groups - one to occupy the Incubus, and the other to occupy the Succubus.
The strategy for the Succubus when encountered is to heavy aggro her and pull her into the right hand alcove. Let the tanks establish aggro, then attack as able. At some point she will cast a knock-back spell and will begin walking towards the center of the room. At the same time at the other end of the room, the Incubus will start moving towards the center of the room also. It is imperative they do not touch as the outcome would be less than desirable. Hit Succubus with all possible attacks, goads, irritates - whatever it takes to pull her attention back to the group in the right alcove. Once aggro is established, tow her back to the right alcove. It is simply a matter or repeating this strategy at this stage. She will eventually be burnt down, and attention can be then turned to the Incubus.
While the Succubus fight is being carried out, the Incubus can be moved around the table in the left alcove. One tank should be sufficient to maintain the aggro, although it can be swapped as needed if the tank runs down on health, although decent monitoring of heals should mostly mitigate the need for this. Once the Succubus is down in the right alcove the group there should move into position in the center of the room. The Incubus should be pulled into the center of the room and then attack him. He will do some fire damage, but it is merely a case of burning him down.
Note: Neither of these bosses drop the box. You musk kill the creatures that pop at their death - these should go down very quickly though, with little or no trouble.
Player Notes
- Forced Summoning will allow you to summon a pet of the opposite sex than what would normally be summoned if cast before the specific summoned pet. Players will receive this spell at level 9 with their first pet summon spell. All characters above level 9 will get this spell automatically.
