Plot Summary
Before Eve, Adam had another wife, Lilith. Adam and Lilith were created at the same time with the same dust from the earth by God, thus they were created equally. They were also created in the same image as God, each possessing their own unique qualities from God, the male and female of God.
From the beginning, Adam and Lilith are drawn to each other and learn to love one another. Eventually, Adam and Lilith develop a unique passion for one another. Their lovemaking sends them on sensations of ecstasy. When Lilith suggests to Adam that they should switch positions in their lovemaking, Adam insists that Lilith is weaker sex. Heartbroken, Lilith flees from Adam and encounters a new sexual experience and freedom.
The story is told through Lilith's point of view.
