Melissa Lilithborne, also known as Melissa King-Denver, is a supporting character in the Chateau Aensland saga. She is one of Lilith's daughters with a characteristic flaming red mane of hair, and a strong appetite for sexuality. She loves oral sex almost to the exclusion of standard intercourse, although this begins to change with the presence of Danny.

Melissa no longer has a body in the physical world; she was once a nun who abstained from sex after her blood sister caught a virus and had her body nearly destroyed by it. After meeting Lilith, Melissa could not choose between her sacred life and the life of a Lilithborne. Danny helped her to let go of her past life and move on, although he fears he may have forced her to pass from the mortal world before she was ready.

• A sidestory between Danny and Melissa, called simply "Danny and Melissa", was written that took place during "The Vertical Event" on Valentine's Day. It was a "dream within a dream" that happened in Danny's mind while their souls were in Lilith's body.
• The name Melissa had in her past life was "Elizabeth". Nothing else is known, other than she died before Lilith. She describes her past life as if she was an angel.
