Plot Summary

Traveling to become the Succubus Interrogator of the Demon Army, lazy Lolth just wants to hang out in her interrogation room, and research food, but the demon king keeps sending her big shots like the Elf Princess, the human empress, Lady of Light and her knights, and the Great Sage for her to interrogate...

Originally, she wanted to communicate in a friendly way with them, but Lolth found that these captives seemed to have some serious problems in their minds.

Elf Princess, "Succubus? Oh no, am I going to be turned into a shameless sex slave!"

Empress, "Using food to try to make me surrender? Grr... just kill me! I will never surrender!"

Lady of Light, "Darn succubus, even if you whip me, **** me, and tie me up to humiliate me, it won't work!"

With a heavy heart, Lolth could only scribble and fabricate wildly on the reports she submitted to the demon king.

Lord Lolth, thanks to your crucial intelligence, the Demon Army has achieved great victories!

Lolth: What's going on, I made it up!

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 11, 2025

There are some things for a succubus that are very important. Some would think that was sex, seduction and domination. For Lolth, it’s food and all of the delights that come. But she has a role and she does have to do her job otherwise things will be a problem for her. Still, that doesn’t mean she has to be evil and those she has to ask questions of might be willing to share and if not, what’s the worst that a little lie could do.

The work is a fantasy erotic adventure with a lot of humour and fun mixed in. There’s also a very strong anime aspect to the work, tending towards a bit of hentai as things unfold. The erotica is to add a bit of spice to things and it doesn’t overcome the story as a whole.

The main character, Lolth, is a succubus, but she’s just about the furthest thing from being evil or nasty. She’s something of an innocent, more fixated on her cooking than being what some would think of as a good, or rather bad, succubus. But that is what makes her so attractive and a delight as the story unfolds. She very much tries to be nice, to be friendly and that comes into conflict with what’s expected of her by the demons she is with and the various characters that come into her orbit.

The anime-like story lends itself to making things that little bit more fun and cute. Being so, while there are some moments of danger and conflict, it’s still Lolth trying to be herself and find her own joy in what happens. When it all goes sideways, and it does regularly, one can’t help but laugh with her and be amazed how everything turns out.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

Just a fun start to the series and I do look forward to seeing where things go from here. Lolth is that sort of anime-like succubus without a clue who has the most odd sort of luck and I wonder where that will take her. It amuses me to think that she could very well become far more than she is and still be so very lost within herself and yet be such a worry to others. Perhaps that’s true, but the fun is seeing how that all comes out in the end after all and if Lolth manages to bake some cookies.
