Plot Summary
The deal had seemed so simple. Too simple. In exchange for the odd evening spent in the company of the rich and famous, Lana Madison would have her college paid for, her younger sister taken care of, and an impressive condo to live in. Seduced by her prospective employer's right-hand man, she took the bait.
Entering the same college, Alleyn can't help but feel entranced by his fellow student, with her jet black hair and smoky eyes. He needs some distance from his troubled past, and Lana feels like the perfect escape.
Lana's dream deal spirals out of control, as she discovers that the Master has bound her in an unbreakable magic oath. She is to be his spy, his saboteur, his assassin. The gorgeous woman sent to woo his enemies and stab them in the back. All the while she has to contend with a once familiar existence now filled with elementals, magic, and alternate planes of existence.
Is she able to maintain her place in the normal world, or will she be lost to the dangerous underworld of which she is now a part? Can Alleyn save her from her fate?
