Nobility and Eros: The Noble Succubus is an expansion module written by Chris A. Field. The sourcebook can be used with the Pathfinders Chronicles universe as part of the Dungeons and Dragons role playing game. The module is also compatible with the Otherverse role playing game system.

The module describes a variation of the traditional Succubus in which they have, through a series of events, turned away from performing evil acts and have become inherently good beings. The module contains a background history of the Noble Succubi as a race, some of their more well known members, statistics, and as well some of the places in the universe that they can be found.

Module Summary

Succubi are predators, soulless demons from outside reality, who adopt a pleasing female shape as a hunting blind, as pretty camouflage. Succubi are cosmic sociopaths who feed on lust, ripping the life energy of their unwitting prey at the moment of their victim’s final, hurtful and wonderful orgasm.

The Noble Succubi are a beautiful aberration, a rare mutation within the Succubi species. Aeons ago, the continual harvesting of sexual energy, of emotion, sparked something within the soul of a lone Succubi. This strange, mutant Succubi began to feel, genuinely, for the first time in long millennia of predation. Shocked by what she had done, this first prototype of the Noble Succubi species attempted to atone and repent. She was slaughtered and devoured by her sisters within days. Unknown to her vile sisters, the first Noble Succubi’s emergent compassion hid within her blood and meat like a virus.

Far from eradicating the taint of kindness and mercy that had infested the Succubi race, the first Noble Succubi’s murder only spread the mutation. Her butchers turned sisters fled to the far corners of the Multiverse, struggling to balance their predatory natures with their emerging emotions. In the wild spaces between the realms, these early Noble Succubi built a new race, a new culture… a new definition of what a Succubi could be.
