Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on November 8, 2020

The work is a very short fantasy adventure with a succubus theme and a little bit of erotica here and there. Very atmospheric, the setting and characters are trapped in their darkness and the darkness that surrounds each of them from the first page.

The succubus of the work, who is never named, is very much a creature of evil and evil intent, but there’s not a lot done to develop her over the story. She is a shadow, a threat and that grows over the story, but it doesn’t allow for the story to delve into her and why things are the way they are and I wonder about that.

Three out of five pitchforks.

the work closes in a very dark place, but as the balance of the story is as dark, that wasn’t a surprise. It is very atmospheric, if lost around the edges from time to time. I feel like expanding the story with a bit of editing would make this a much better read.
