Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on January 12, 2021
Candice has encountered something indescribable which she cannot get out of her mind. With the memories comes a need she cannot fulfil and a destiny she cannot escape.
The work is something of a mixture of erotic transformation and mind control, tending more towards the erotic needs of the main character Candice and how her transformation effects those around her. It’s well done, there’s a lot of moments that have a lot of heat in them. It’s also interesting to see how her mind shifts from where she begins to where the story finally ends. There’s not much in the way of physical transformation till the end, but it works well, if being short and not very detailed.
The succubus of the work, who is never named, isn’t really present in the story save for the beginning to start things and at the end to draw it to a close. She doesn’t have much dialogue and it’s a bit of a shame that there’s not much given to the mythos around her and i’d have liked to see something of that come out.
Three and a half pitchforks out of five.
An interesting story with moments of well told erotica and mental shifting and transformation. I’d have liked more interaction with the succubus than there is, but a good read and something to ponder when the story comes to a close.
