Plot Summary
Justin is your average college student, no really, and all he wants is to pass his math final. Instead of trying to bribe his professor or cheat on the exam, he turns to more supernatural help to pass his exam and keep his scholarship. But when the demon he summons demands the use of his body as payment, he's forced to choose - spend a night at the mercy of a demon, or get kicked out of school?
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on May 5, 2020
Justin has a real issue and given really no choice, a deal with a demon has to be better than nothing. But the demon he summoned is a bit perplexed at what he wants and as for Justin, what the demon wants is going to be hard to deal with.
The work is a very short erotic possession story with a very odd sense of humour. The characters are dearly odd in their own ways, the story dances a bit around what the seeming incubus wants from Justin, and by the time the work closes, the frustration both have is really something to behold.
The incubus of the story, who is never named, is very dominant, wants one thing from Justin who he has possessed, and will get that by hook or by crook. It’s a bit unclear as to what his powers are, there’s a bit of mind control, a little incubus heat as well. But overall the incubus is a mystery and it’s a bit disappointing that he wasn’t given a name really.
Three out of five pitchforks.
More a possession story with a bit of an incubus control edge, which does read well, has some amusing moments and ends in a bit of an odd way. I wouldn’t think of this as horror exactly, it’s a bit set aside from that theme and honestly turning this into a horror story would have taken away so much.
