Plot Summary
She wasn’t like most women. Golden skin. A tail. And yet, she was stunning. She was driving me wild for her. Getting in this cave was my last mistake. I was in her lair. Her eyes were set on me. I was her only objective. When she got close enough, I could see she was dripping. She wanted me. Her skin was so smooth. Unbelievably smooth. And she knew all those things. She was using them to tame my wild mind…
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on April 14, 2020
He knows what she is. A succubus, a creature of sex and testacy, but also something he will never escape. She needs and craves in a way that only the newly formed of the succubi can be.
The work is a very short, what I call a pamphlet. succubus erotic hot flash that is written quite well, the characters have depth and purpose within the story too. It’s very much an encounter, a moment in time, which tells of what happens to the main character, their fall to the succubus, and what comes afterwards. The storylelling of that submission to unchecked desire is a delight to watch unfold, but at the same time there is the overshadowing of what will be the result and it really is a shame that the story needed to end where it did.
The succubus of the work, who is never named, is a bit different in her form and appearance, though there is a tail seen. She’s not evil, something close to being innocent or unaware of herself which is something quite different and unique. There are hints of what succubi are in this story universe as well, but they are mentioned in passing, the story having little time to spend on the details and leaving them to be a mystery.
Three out of five pitchforks.
The work closes in a place that, honestly, was not that much of a surprise. With that said, it was a little disappointing in that with all of the story that came before, I wanted something different than what was telegraphed in the first few pages. I also really wanted the succubus to have a name as well. We’ll see what the next work in the series brings and I hope it will be at least as promising as this one was.
