Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 13, 2020
Roxy is a succubus with one thing on her mind and, if she’s fortunate, one of her encounters will be able to give her what she wants. The hunger of a succubus is endless and for Roxy, the fun is in finding a way to sooth that ache within.
The work is a collection of very short erotic vignettes which follow the main character Roxy as she becomes entangled with different men in different settings. The stories are written well, there’s more to them than just the sex alone and it does add a lot to what otherwise could have been just erotica with simmering heat.
Set in a modern time and space, the stories are very much about Roxy seeking out her next erotic delight, having her way with them, or being used by them, before both orgasm and the story comes to a close before the next begins.
Roxy is a succubus in human form, there are no horns or tails to be seen, which was a bit of a shame really. She is very much a tease, a temptation and a seductress and her character and personality comes out really well as the stories are told.
Three and a half pitchforks out of five.
Roxy’s stories are a little singleminded, perhaps a little repetitive as well. With that said the heat makes up for a lot of that as does her character as well. It’s a shame that the series which was supposed to follow never did. More so that this work is no longer available to be read as well. Roxy was interesting as succubi characters go, I wonder what her stories could have been.
