Plot Summary

What is it that separates a demon from a devil?

One hundred years before the Festival, trapped within a desolate hellscape, the demons forgotten by mankind have begun to stir. Rosaria, a denizen of the underworld, is cursed with a lack of strength; a death sentence for her kind. Doomed to be crushed and trampled by her inhuman kin, Rosaria finds herself consumed with hatred and desperate for vengeance. After taking a life for the first time, she discovers that she's a Succubus, a demon that grows stronger with each life they ruin. With an end to her suffering in sight and determined to never feel pain again, she succumbs to her inner rage, becoming one of the monsters which she so despised in the name of power. When a young half demon emerges to unite Hell, she is faced with a choice: steal his power and rule over the Demon World while dooming her kind in the process, or mend the mistakes of her past, even if it returns the pain she so desperately wished to be rid of. A tale of guilt and self-identity, Severed Part II: Inferno shows the story of those responsible for the Festival and asks what it means to be a monster.
