Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on October 20, 2019
Two shifters meet in the night, passing like ships, but sometimes there are rocks and shoals to top up their passage. Sometimes that leads souls to realized just who they are and what they desire.
The work is a mixture of romance, fantasy and a bit of conflict which go together well in creating a story in which the main characters just aren’t connecting at the beginning and by the end of the story, and it take a lot to get there, their truths come together and it’s really well done.
Ethereal, the succubus of the work, is a very minor character in this story and it is rather difficult to know much about her. I do like that she doesn’t feel stereotypical, I like that the succubi in this story universe are about love and passion as well. But the story isn’t about her and she is more a means to an end for the main characters than anything else really.
Three out of five pitchforks.
The story and characters are interesting, but this is not a story about a succubus, it’s a story with a succubus as a minor character ands he appears so very briefly at that.
