Plot Summary

Zaia Richards: Since she was a child she was raised to believe to be only human. Then learned the family secret - her father was a merman. This discovery led her to understand why her parents had instilled a great fear of water. Now at age 25, her sister Kristian, is marrying one of the heads of the Humanity First Movement. A political group set to harm any Fey they come across because the humans think they invaded their city four decades ago. Dr. Damon Kroft: Coming into Connagha to help an incubus friend. He and his twin brother, Mathiyus are assigned with investigating the disappearance of 'Mountain Mother.' One of the fey that helped the city become a safe haven for most of the beings in the south. But one chance encounter at a coffee shop changes his perspective of this dysfunctional city. A set of lavender eyes charm him. While getting closer to solving his case he finds out that Humanity First Movement have taken liberties with more than just the local fey. Can he and his brother get to the bottom of this before it all goes wrong?
