Plot Summary
Short stories that are kind of romance. Private school vigilante drama, gay-bar-gone-wrong Cinderella story, succubus with her heart in a different place, and a horrible cook for a husband.
- Time of Death is about Polly, a succubus, who has to lure corrupt men into a motel and have them climax at 3:11pm. If she can accomplish that before they rot away with each lustful thrust, she gets their heart and lives for another year. If not, there’s a heart she doesn’t go home to.
- Burnt Offerings deals with Jared not being able to make a simple dinner for his hard-working wife. He’s so bad, that he now has to hide their burnt baby with a garbage bag and some cats. Wonder how well done that will turn out.
- Knight in Shining Rags tells a story about Gin, shooting for true love at a bar. As if the place wasn’t already a bad start, the woman he finds himself getting entangled with doesn’t seem to go so well either. For once it’s the prince that needs saving, not the princess.
- Hood Hero takes place in a private high school with Belle training to be the city’s vigilante and endeavoring to the heart of the most popular girl in school. However, she struggles with her heroic adventures. She especially struggles with confronting her role-model crush. But what happens when prom night makes her realize she has to be the hero and confront her damsel in distress?
