Plot Summary
This is the final part of Alex’s journey. From a middle-aged man, a man who in bored desperation during the great 2020 plague, dabbled with magics he did not believe in or understand. Surviving the events of that night by mere chance, used as a plaything by the succubus Zorya. Then surviving another night with her on a small Baltic Island after seeking her out once more. Surviving that night by luck and his own untapped magic.
Forty years later, he sought her out again, only to be met by her sister, Zelda. Unable to resist this temptress’s mind tricks, he made a pact and paid a heavy price. The price was the memory of a great love, a memory she tore from him leaving him traumatized and ready to end his life himself. When Zorya returns suddenly. Feeling his pain, she releases him from his mortal burden.
He died that night, but the method of his death, the choice of rope that bound him, had unexpected consequences. His soul and spirit instead of passing on to the afterlife were bound to the earthly realm, trapped forever within his magic rope. He later discovered that he could possess and feed upon those that handled with his rope. Possessing his great granddaughter, he managed to get a message to a practitioner (witch) that he thought might help end his torment.
Her help ended up getting the witch, her lover and his granddaughter in trouble with the third sister of the Slavic Goddess Zorya, Zelena. She gave them a quest to bring the late Alex back from the dead! She wants to meet the man who survived her sisters and finally take his life as she had so many before.
Now the three girls must call upon their gods and goddesses in the hope to find a way to fulfil the quest before Zelena takes her pleasures of them in Alex’s stead.
