Book Review

Carl is discovering that keeping his new wife Jessica happy is a hard thing. Not because she’s beautiful or that she’s entirely devoted to him. It’s her succubus nature and all of the wildly unexpected things she wants them both to try. He would do anything for Jessica of course, and she’ll make sure that Carl finds that things are always so very hard.
Following on from the prior work, the threesome continues with a bit of universe and character development mentioned in passing. The work is mainly an extended erotic threesome in which the characters are carried on by Jessica’s powers as a succubus which works really well overall. The heat doesn’t build however so much as it simmers along until the work ends and the characters and story move onwards.
There’s not much more revealed about Jessica than has been, it’s perhaps a bit more refined in telling about succubi in this story universe. There is a revelation from one character, who isn’t a succubus, about their kind which peaked my interest and at the same time saddened me. I hope that’s explored going forwards as it’s a very troubling and concerning thing by far.
That all said, this wasn’t really focused strongly on Jessica’s nature as a succubus. There was a bit of character development, a side plot was advanced as well. So there was focus on something other than the erotica which kept me interested in the series and I hope that will continue.

The series really didn’t move very much plot wise or character wise either. That’s not to say that there weren’t some threads pulled on or that some pieces of the story universe weren’t revealed a bit more. I hope that the next work will set aside the erotica, at least enough to tell more about the succubi in this universe. There’s a massive question casually mentioned that I want an answer for and if that’s not, it will be disappointing.
