Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on June 26, 2026
Grace has found that what she needs she cannot have, but with a little infernal assistance, she might discover there are other possibilities she didn’t realize she needed.
The work is a short erotic hot flash with a focus on futa themes and one of the main characters being a succubus to tie the story and characters together. The story moves rather quickly towards the erotica, there’s not a lot of character development as such. As for the erotica, it is a bit over the top as most futa themed stories tend to be but the succubus aspects were interesting and held the story together I thought.
The succubus of the work, Megaethm is a very dominant character and her succubus nature, shapeshifting and all, puts that strongly into the story. While she is a succubus, that feels somewhat less important than her futa nature, both in character and plot, which felt like a bit of a shame. It would have been nice to know more about her as she is interesting and it feels like there’s more to he than what the story allowed.
Two and a half out of five pitchforks.
The work is mainly focused on the futa themed erotica with a bit of succubus erotica added for a bit of a twist. Overall there are some moments that worked, others were very much over the top. How the story closes is interesting and given that this is the beginning of a new series, hopefully there will be more depth to the characters, especially Megaeth ti be explored.
