Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on July 8, 2018

There is always a deal to be made and when making a deal with a succubus, it is never in your favour. But a deal is made and the terms will be met, one way or the other.

The work is a short erotic hot flash which mainly focuses on the succubus of the story taking attributes from the main character and adding them to herself as the story is told. The focus of the story is on that aspect more than anything else, and as such there’s really very little in a succubus theme to the erotica save for the succubus character herself.

The succubus, who is never named, is very much a deal maker and, in a way, a thief more than a seductress or temptress. She has a plan and the story pushes towards that goal which comes into focus at the close. She’s not quite stereotypical, but she is evil with a slight twist to her character and what powers she has.

Three out of five pitchforks.

It’s a shame the succubus was never given a name, more so considering her personality and what happens at the end of he story that could have been an interesting reveal. The story ends in a place that offers possibilities for another story, which would be interesting, but if so a little more depth to the story would give a lot to the characters.
