Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on January 30, 2018

Nichole’s situation just gets worse by the moment. If it isn’t Lucifer trying to take control, the impact of consuming the demons she’s been encountering is becoming addictive. But there’s more to be done and if that means taking a risk, what are they to do? Being overconfident isn’t good, especially when you are dealing with evil.

This part of the series is the shortest by far, mainly in the storytelling, which focuses on two encounters by Nichole and the futa sex that comes with them. As a result, the focus on futa themes causes any character development to be minimal at best.

The erotica is very much over the top once more and it overwhelms any other story telling by far. There’s the barest telling of events elsewhere, but that is a paragraph or two here and there. As such the story just wanders and doesn’t go anywhere. The erotica remains too pornish for my liking and the plot lines, what little were were, couldn’t keep my attention.

The work is very short again, and it reads in a way that makes it feel even shorter still. There are moments in which other characters appear which could have been given more pages to explore, but aren’t. In how things read the work is barely a hot flash erotica-wise, it’s barely a succubus story too. The futa theme continues throughout, but that doesn’t make this part of the series tell a story.

Two out of five pitchforks.

This really isn’t much of a chapter, it doesn’t push the story along much either. Nichole and Lucifer don’t really do a lot, the events don’t add much to the story. This is all really a shame because there’s hint of things, but they don’t get any traction to make the story more interesting. Hopefully the next work in the series will be better than this was.
