Plot Summary

Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on November 22, 2016
Julie’s plans of revenge, lust and sex continue onwards, gathering more victims into her clutches. But what is a succubus to do when she’s given a Lilim to play with and that Lilim is just as twisted as she is?
Like the first work, this is a very difficult read. Editing mistakes, wooden dialogue and disjointed sentence structure do not help in comprehending the story. Further, the lack of direction from Julie, or the other characters in telling a story, moving it forwards, leaves something to be desired.
There’s no expansion of Julie as a character, of her past either. Again, the focus is on Julie having sex, casting some spells and getting involved with the Lilim that comes into her possession. The theme and tone again makes this read like Hentai, there are a lot of tentacles after all. Little or no character development happens, the erotica has almost no heat to it as well.
The small bits of development that happened in the prior work aren’t really touched on, save once, and then are forgotten in the wake of Julie’s sexual needs taking over the story completely once more. Like the first work, the erotica reads as Hentai porn, there’s no real point. There’s no direction or plot, and as the conclusion comes the question remains as to just what, exactly, is going on.
The work has little, if any, editing, the dialogue reads oddly, the narrative is mostly non-existent. There isn’t so much a story as a series of short porn scenes where Julie gets to come… over and over again… and then it rushes off in another direction altogether.
The plot, the narrative is missing and it would be good for the author to re-edit things to make it read better than it does. Again, there’s a story here, but the flaws get in the way, leaving it hidden and lost. One more editing pass to make the dialogue better, to make the characters more than cardboard would be nice. It also would help to say something more about Julie than she loves sex and toying with those around her.
One pitchfork out of five.
Not much more interesting than the first work and that’s a shame. The author seems to suggest there will be another work in the series and if there is I hope that allows for Julie as a character to be more than she is now. Being manipulative is a character trait, it shouldn’t be all that Julie is by far.
