Plot Summary
Alec's parents have a new house-sitter. Lucie is cute, shy, and doesn't seem to know the first thing about privacy, especially when she's flaunting skimpy outfits while crawling over him when cleaning his bedroom. But there's more to her than meets the eye. She's secretly a succubus, and Alec's high testosterone count provides her with the satisfaction she eternally craves.
However, Lucie's feeding time completely drains Alec of his masculinity. He can easily get it back, but it means finding a boyfriend and replenishing what he lost—all so he can keep the house-sitting succubus satisfied every few days. And with finding time for schoolwork and avoiding his parents while suffering from this parasitical relationship, Alec starts to wonder if having Lucie around is a form of damnation or weird, sinful pleasure...
Book Review
The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 5, 2024
Alec has a problem and her name is Lucie. She’s sexy, tempting and can’t be avoided at all. The bigger problem is that she’s a succubus and she wants one thing from him as much as possible. That shouldn’t be all that bad, but when the result is Alec becoming female, that brings a new kind of problem to deal with.
The work is a cute mixture of succubus erotica, gender transformation and lot of humour that works very well. It is a short story, jumping from introducing the characters to the erotica and then the transformation aftermath. As such, there’s not a moment wasted the storytelling, moving from scene to scene very quickly.
It’s a bit of a shame that the story is so short as it would have been nice to tell more about how Alec deals with things, Lucie’s help, in many different ways, explored too. But there’s enough hints and suggestions that the pieces fall into place which creates a quirky story that amused me a lot.
Lucie, the succubus of the work, is very much a tease, seductress and overall is something of a guide to Alec when it matters. But she also points him in the direction needed for both of their sakes and then steps back to see what happens. Her personality is just a bit wierd and a bit odd and that was refreshing to see. Her physical transformations are quite well done and what she reveals about succubi in this universe fascinated me.
While Lucie is core to the story, this is far more a gender transformation story than really a succubus one. Still, there is quite a mythos built up and that really was interesting. The twist at the end was especially fun too. But is also made me wonder about incubi and what would happen with them as well. I’d like to see a part two if for no other reason than to expand the characters more.
Three and a half out of five pitchforks.
A fun story, if a bit short, which is a shame. Perhaps a bit more time spent on the transformations or more about Lucie would have added more. Still a cute read and a lot of fun overall, I just wish that there would have been more time spent with succubi than there was as the focus.
