Plot Summary

Vampires, demons, and . . . . Lilith

Psychologist Jay Lasco, seeking a less hectic life, leaves a thriving London practice for a position at Harwood Clinic, an asylum in a desolate portion of northwest Scotland. Within weeks, however, Jay finds himself increasingly apprehensive. Something is not right on the wards – patients and staff are strangely aloof and some patient records go back over 100 years. Jay and colleague Liz join forces to find the truth about Harwood Clinic and subsequently become entangled with Lilith, Adam’s first wife, who left Eden to become a succubus and the first vampire. Eventually Jay learns that his great grandfather, Jonus Lasco, had a series of intriguing encounters with Lilith. Jay and Liz explore how his great grandfather died and Jay’s own unique bloodline – a search that results in a life-and-death battle with demons, vampires, and Lilith.
