Plot Summary

A scorching fantasy romance following Eve MacKenzie as she is pulled into a world of lust and darkness. Eve, an English lawyer, travels to defend a soldier in a disturbing rape case in Krakow. After a kiss in the dark from a stranger and a horrific train crash, Eve's world is obliterated. Obsessed by the need to understand what's happening to her, Eve travels to Slovakia and then San Francisco. Pursued by a vicious incubus, Perun, Eve tries to resist his seductive powers. Perun reveals Eve's demonic blood line to lure her into the non-mortal world of Manitu to find her birth mother. There follows a bloody battle for power between the demon seducers - the tribe of the incubus - and Eve's true family. She must make a terrible sacrifice to safeguard the lives of the people she loves.
