Plot Summary
This book tells the truth about their quest for immense power contained in a deadly golden mask. It began when retired DS Roy “Winkle” Pilkington helped a young woman addicted to sleepwalking. He should have known better because no good turn goes unpunished and in this case it led to witchcraft, a dead comedian, a porn actress turned undertaker, people trafficking and the strangest librarian you’ve ever seen. And the clock is ticking. ‘Just tell me how you fight a dead vampire?’ That’s all Winkle wants to know. And if he can’t find the answer to that question the entire world faces an eternity of vampire dominance that will see humans reduced to the status of cattle to feed their blood sucking masters. Here, you will find a mosaic of people and events that puts the reader into a real, but unknown, world of horror. An unnatural place that is better to read about than to be in.
