Plot Summary

While on the hunt for a deadly succubus, a handsome young paladin finds himself ensnared by the very demon he sought to destroy. Her devoted worshippers strip and overpower him until he gives in to the erotic power of the demoness--suddenly the innocent hero finds himself awakened to an entirely new world of sexual sensation. A dark, lavish tale of hedonistic debauchery featuring orgies, group sex, handjobs, and a whole lot of pegging. Perfect for tabletop rpg nerds, or those who prefer to get off to luxurious, evocative fantasies.

Book Review

The following review was originally published by Tera on her Blog, A Succubi's Tale on March 6, 2022

A town under the thrall of a succubus seems like a good quest for a paladin to take. But one should never be overconfident in themselves or believe they are facing ‘just a succubus’. If one’s desires are seen, the fall can be both inevitable and unexpected.

The work is a hot flash erotic scene with strong fantasy world elements. There’s really not a lot of world building, save for what’s needed to drive the main characters together however. Neither the paladin, or the succubus, is given a name in the work, which seems like a missed opportunity as well. Still, the writing is very good, the descriptions are well done and there are some moments that offer quite a lot character wise on occasion.

The erotica itrself is a bit tepid at times, occasionally over the top and at least once seemed not to really make sense in the setting or plot. The succubus is very much a sexual being, her actions and hold over those around her is laser focused on that being all consuming. While she is very much a succubus in form, she’s not quite as good a seductress as she might have been. Similarly, the paladin resists, but the fall I think could have been more well told from his perspective.

The lack of either main character having a name just feels wrong somehow. The seduction is well done, the story is interesting and was a fun read. The last sentence however really didn’t work for me, mainly in that it feels really tacked on for the sake of being there and not much else.

Three and a half out of five pitchforks.

A well told work of erotic fantasy, if a bit over the top and a bit scattered in focus. I’d like to see a follow on, there’s a story untold with the succubus herself and perhaps telling that story beyond the erotica would lead to something more.
