Plot Summary

With no memories of her past and only a scar on her stomach as a clue to what happened long ago, Tempest has spent her entire life at odds with herself. Different than other people, she struggles to balance exploring her talents with the need to keep them hidden from others. When a tragedy strikes at the age of 16, one that leaves a high-school crush dead and her with a brand-new set of powers, she gets a crash course in what it means to be different than everyone else, and she comes up with the three cardinal rules to keep her and everyone around her safe:

1. Never go too long with a feeding.

2. Never go in the same person’s dream twice.

3. Never let Hunger take over.

However, when a monster who frequents her dreams interrupt her daily life and makes her break all of the rules she has set in place, will she be able to keep the deadly and insatiable demon inside her at bay, or will it add yet another life to it’s body count?
